Welcoming My New Nephew: A Lifestyle Newborn Session at their Home
I recently had the joy of photographing my new nephew in a relaxed, lifestyle newborn session right in the comfort of their own home. There’s something so special about capturing these early days in the environment where everyone feels competley at ease and comfortable.
We used their bedroom and the soft natural light from the windows to create these gentle, authentic images. It was a very family-focused session… his big brother was an important part of the shoot too! We played games, laughed, and made sure he felt included, which brought such fun and personality to the photos.
I brought along my own fabrics for a cozy and neutreal feel, while the family provided the adorable outfits, creating a perfect combination of comfort and style.
It’s moments like these, full of connection, love, and laughter that make lifestyle newborn photography so meaningful.
I feel so lucky to have captured these first memories as a family of 4 for my sister. You’ll definitely be seeing lots more of these 4 featured on my website over the years!
They absolutley adore black and white images which is why I have shared the highlight photos in black and white only :)

Why should you choose an ‘at home’ newborn shoot?
An at-home newborn lifestyle shoot is a relaxed, baby-led way to capture those precious early days without any pressure. There’s no need to pack bags or rush out the door as everything happens in the comfort of your own home, where both you and your baby feel most at ease.
Your session flows naturally around feeds, cuddles and naps, allowing me to capture genuine moments and real connections. Your home becomes part of the story too — from nursery details to sofa snuggles, creating meaningful images that truly reflect your life right now. It’s also perfect for siblings and pets, who can join in comfortably at some point throughout the session.
The result is a timeless collection of natural, heartfelt photographs that document this fleeting chapter exactly as it felt, in your little bubble.
