NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY

Congratulations...

...and thank you for considering me to photograph your newborn.

I totally appreciate how hard to can be to get out the house with a new baby.. just as you go to leave there's a 'poo explosion' or the baby may need a feed.
The great thing about booking one of these sessions is that the shoot is entirely led by the baby (and older siblings that you might have a home with you). The sessions take place within the comfort of your home and I only need a small amount of space near a window for the light.

It’s all on your terms…

A lot of our session is spent with me getting to know you and your family and my aim is to make everybody feel as comfortable as possible. This might mean that I don't end up taking photos for the first 30 minutes or so because I'm interacting with older siblings so they can get to know me too.

Newborn sessions usually takes place within the first 3 weeks of your babies life. This is when they are most sleepy and easier to position.. unfortunately, newborns don't stay sleepy for long, so we only have a tiny window to create these beautiful natural photographs.

We had a newborn evening shoot with Hannah photographing our 12-day old boy, Huw. It was a very last minute booking and she managed to squeeze us in for an evening!
