Wedding FAQs
I'm a Canon Girl! I always have been and probably always will be! I shoot every wedding with 2x Canon R6 mirrorless cameras, accompanied by a range of professional prime, telephoto and wide angled lenses and flashguns.
Yes, I include a 30 mile round trip from the PO12 postcode. Any additional miles will be charged at £0.45 per mile and will be due at the same time the final balance is.
This is literally one of my most asked questions, and to be honest, it really doesn't phase me. I'm not the best in front of the camera either!
I very rarely ask couples to pose in front of the camera, as this takes away the natural and story-telling approach. I tend to use my telephoto lens for couple shots, so I am set back quite far from you, this way, you won't feel intimidated by a camera being 1 metre from your face!
No, it is not in my contract, however it is always very much appreciated when couples offer it, but please don't feel obliged...! I will often have a 'supplier meal' set aside for me or the bride and groom will put some money behind the bar for me to grab something to eat during the wedding breakfast.
The deposit is required to secure the wedding date. The date will be kept open and available to other couples until you complete the contract paperwork and pay the £500 non-refundable deposit.
Your final balance is due 1 calendar month before the wedding day.
Sadly I had to postpone over 70 weddings because of Covid. All I ask from you is that you contact me prior to moving your date to ensure availability. Your deposit will be transferred to your new wedding date (if i'm available) and there MAY be an uplift in price depending on how far into the future you move your wedding to.
No, not at all! Obviously, this depends on the number of guests you have at your wedding, and the combinations you request, however, I have a suggested list of 'formal photos' that are popular amongst couples.
I obtain a list of family members and their relation to you both in advance of the day, so the group photos usually take around 20-30 minutes. Sometimes it can be tricky arranging larger groups so I always ask a groomsman or best man to help me out with gathering the guests; which they tend to enjoy!
I advise couples the gallery turn-around time of up to 12 weeks. Usually galleries will be completed before this, however, during the peak wedding season, it can take the full duration.
All packages are booked for 9 hour coverage. If your wedding overruns as per the itinerary there will be a charge of £50 per 30 minutes extra I am at the wedding. You can always add on additional coverage prior to the wedding day too.
